David Curtis, Founder and CEO
Mr. Curtis, the Company’s Founder and Chief Executive Officer, founded Janus in 2002 following a successful career with Doors and Building Components, Inc., a company that he started in 1988 and sold to NCI Building Systems, Inc. in 1995. He is recognized for his accomplishments at Janus by Georgia Trend magazine and Inc. magazine. Mr. Curtis has more than 30 years of experience in the commercial building and self storage markets. He is the recipient of several patents related to commercial door processes. Mr. Curtis attended the University of Georgia.
Scott Sannes, Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Sannes, the Company’s Chief Financial Officer responsible for the financial, human resource and information technology departments. Mr. Sannes has over 15 years of highly diverse business experience on national and international levels.
Mr. Sannes holds a BBA, Accounting from University of Wisconsin-Madison – School of Business.
Jeff Higashi, President, Western Division; Self Storage
Mr. Higashi, was appointed President, Western Division; Self Storage in 2009. Prior to Janus he was the owner of Epic Doors. Mr. Higashi has over 20 years of experience in the roll-up steel space in some capacity.
Colin Jeromson, Managing Director, European Market
Mr. Jeromson was appointed CEO of Steel Storage Holdings in December 2012. Prior to this he was the Managing Director for Steel Storage Europe, a role he took on when joining the group in 2008. Colin has over 20 years’ experience in the construction industry and before joining Steel Storage he spent 10 years with Schindler, the multi-national Swiss Elevator company. While there, he fulfilled various executive roles in several European countries.
Colin is a qualified engineer and holds an MBA from Bolton University (Manchester, England) and various management qualifications from IMD (Lausanne, Switzerland).
Ramey Jackson, Vice President, Sales
Mr. Jackson joined the Company in 2002 and is the Company’s Vice President of Sales. Prior to joining Janus, Mr. Jackson was a regional sales manager with Doors and Building Components Inc. Prior to joining DBCI, Mr. Jackson was employed by Atlas Door. Mr. Jackson has over 15 years of sales and marketing experience and attended Kennesaw State University.
Tom Prybyloski, Vice President, Purchasing
Mr. Prybyloski joined the Janus team in 2016 and is the Company’s Vice President of Purchasing. Prior to Janus, Mr. Prybyloski held roles as President, Vice President of Sales, and Business Development Manager for Metal Coaters, a business segment of NCI Buildings and has over 35 years of experience in the steel producing, painting and processing industry in various positions at US Steel, New Process, and Coilplus before joining Janus. Mr. Prybyloski graduated with a degree in Industrial Engineering from Pennsylvania State University.
Vic Nettie, Vice President, Operations
Mr. Nettie joined the Company in 2002 and is the Company’s Vice President of Manufacturing. Prior to Janus, Mr. Nettie was a senior manager with Doors and Building Components, Inc. Mr. Nettie has more than 25 years of experience in installation and production of commercial and self storage products. He is a graduate of Michigan State University.
Morgan Hodges, Vice President, Technical Sales
Mr. Hodges serves as the Company’s Vice President of Technical Sales and Installation and has broad responsibilities including estimating, contract sales, installation services and product development. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Hodges owned and operated a general contracting firm which constructed, among other things, self storage facilities. Mr. Hodges has more than 25 years of experience in the self storage industry and is widely respected by industry participants.
Roc Hughes, Vice President, International Sales
Mr. Hughes serves as the Company’s Vice President of International Sales. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Hughes was employed by Doors and Building Components Inc., where he was the Director of Sales and Marketing. Mr. Hughes has over 15 years of experience in the self storage industry. He is an active member of industry associations, ISS, SSA, FSSA, NCSSA, GASSA, FEDESSA and ASBRASS. Mr. Hughes owned and operated 4Seasons Self Storage in Villa Rica, GA from 2008-2014.
Mr. Hughes played college baseball on a full scholarship then coached high school baseball during the 1998 season. He is a former member of the Douglas County Chamber of Commerce.
Mr. Hughes earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Technology Management from Southern Polytechnic State University. In his spare time, Mr. Hughes enjoys golf, hunting, off-shore fishing and skiing. He is engaged to Jeannie Charles of San Diego, CA.
Terry Bagley, Vice President of Business Development
Mr. Bagley has been involved in the self storage industry for 15 years in various capacities. In his current role, Mr. Bagley is responsible for executive level customer relationships, vendor partnerships and interaction. He is also responsible for the Janus International SecurGuard™ product line which provides individual unit access control and security.
Previously, Mr. Bagley was the President & CEO of Centershift, Inc., an innovative and leading rental management and point-of-sale software solution to the self storage industry. He also set the strategy and led the successful acquisition of Hi-Tech Smart Systems RentPlus management software and customer base in 2011.
Mr. Bagley served on the national (and international) Self Storage Association (SSA) board of directors for 6 years from 2010 to 2015. During the period he was the Chairman of the Technology and Data committee. He also served as the Co-Chair of the Utah Technology Council (UTC) Public Policy committee from 2007 to 2015. Previously he served on the Board of Centershift, Inc. (2005-2013), the Utah Self Storage Association Board of Directors (2007-2010). In 2012, Mr. Bagley was appointed to a two-year term on the Utah State Board of Education Nominating & Selection Committee by the Governor of Utah.
Mr. Bagley also speaks at industry trade shows/conferences and he is a frequent editorial contributor to industry trade publications and magazines, including the SSA Globe, Inside Self-Storage, and Mini-Storage Messenger.
Before entering the self storage industry, Mr. Bagley spent almost 20 years in the technology industry in various leadership positions in business development, sales and marketing and management for both private and publicly traded companies that included 3Com (acquired by Hewlett-Packard), US Robotics and Megahertz.
Mr. Bagley is a graduate of Brigham Young University and San Jose State University. He has also attended post graduate training courses in various business-related subjects, including executive education courses from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He resides in Salt Lake City, Utah with his wife and family.
Dan Horton, Chief Information Officer
Dan joined Janus in 2015. As CIO he is responsible for setting the strategic direction of technology, implementing new systems, managing and monitoring existing systems and all telecommunications. Prior to taking this role, Dan came to Janus after over 25 years in the information technology arena at companies like Deloitte & Touché and Emerson Electric with the last 15+ being in a senior leadership role.
During his career he has led several business system implementations for multi-national companies in challenging business environments. He has been successful in taking the results of business process improvements and layering technology on top of that to truly realize efficiency gains.
Leeann Fleming, Director of Marketing and Press Relations
Ms. Fleming serves as the Company’s Director of Marketing. She began her Janus career in 2003 and has held various positions across the company including, inside sales, sales and marketing coordinator, ecommerce sales and marketing manager.
Before returning to Janus as marketing manager, Leeann was event marketing director for an electronic health record company. In 2015 Leeann’s trade show booth design was recognized with the People’s Choice Award by EXHIBITOR Magazine for outstanding achievement in new design construction.
Leeann is an active board member and past co-chairman with the March of Dimes in her community. She has also done ten years of volunteer work for the Junior Woman’s Club where she served multiple terms as Secretary, 1st VP and President.
