Warranties

We’ve got you covered.

Janus International Group manufacturers high quality self storage and commercial roll-up doors. Our company uses innovative rolling door designs that incorporate a dead axle, disc wheels, enclosed pre-greased springs, and quality paint coatings. These components eliminate maintenance and extend the life of each door. The rolling door designs that we use are superior because they are more efficient to manufacture and require less maintenance in the industry.

Janus International Group, headquartered in Temple, GA, 30179 warrants that every mini door or building component and its hardware and fittings will be free of defects in workmanship and material for a period of THREE years from the date of purchase.

We further warrant that every commercial door and its hardware and fittings will be free of defects in workmanship and material for a period of ONE year from the date of purchase.

Janus Damage Policy

  • Janus doors are packaged and loaded with care to minimize transit damage. However, due to road conditions and shipper handling procedures outside our control, there are exceptions. Small dents or dings as well as light paint damage due to wear and tear in transit are classified as normal and therefore not an approved reason to return or refuse delivery of the door. We will supply touch up paint but cannot accept a return of the door.
  • According to the Door & Access Systems Manufacturers Association (DASMA), “a common occurrence with rolling door products, under normal usage of such products, is the wearing away of the painted surface of the curtain. This condition occurs as the result of the curtain repeatedly coiling upon itself, and then repeatedly uncoiling, upon the opening and closing of a rolling door.” Therefore normal wear and tear from metal to metal contact is not covered under the Janus paint warranty.
  • Visible shipping damages other than those stipulated in item #1 above need to be reported immediately. If you see physical damage to the carton, please show it to the delivery person and ask permission to open and inspect the package before signing for it. If you notice damage to the item inside the carton DO NOT ACCEPT IT AND DO NOT SIGN FOR IT! Simply inform the driver that you are refusing delivery due to damage and contact us at once to make a report so we can have a replacement shipped to you immediately. Please check your door(s) upon arrival as Janus cannot be responsible for any damages or missing items once you have already signed for them.
