LATCHES AND DIAMOND PLATEWhen it comes to latches, the Janus line stands out far from the competition! Our suite of latches offer hard-to-find versatility in regards to the type of locks they accept. For example: cylinder locks used in conjunction with padlocks, disk locks, combination locks, and multiple overlocks. They’re also a superior fit for Janus doors because they’re specifically manufactured to fit our corrugation.
The latches are also made in such a way that’s harder to force open or break than other latches found in the market. The JBI MDS latch even has a unique “fold-preventing lip” built into the slide so burglars cannot force open or pry open the swing door that it’s mounted on.
In regards to materials, our yellow zinc latches are carbon steel zinc plated, and our stainless steel latches are pure stainless steel throughout.
For an additional fee, we also offer a suite of Chateau latches that are compatible with the existing Janus corrugation.

The Janus standard Diamond Plate Kickplate comes in 12” tall by 10’- 0 (20GA) strips, so you can cover substantial amounts of your hallway system with just a few pieces. These strips aren’t just durable, but they’re also pretty agile; they can be applied to either flush or corrugated Janus hallway systems. Want them on your outside corners? No problem. Inside corners as well? Not a problem either! They’re made to wrap around the frames in the hallways as an added bonus.
Diamond Plate Kickplates aren’t just for looks, either. This application has become standard for most self-storage facilities over the years due to the level of protection they add to hallway systems. Think about all the carts, dollies, couches and other heavy items that pass through your storage hallways every day – they’re almost guaranteed to collide with the corners and walls at some point!
