Clearing a Fob Assigned to a Current Tenant
To clear a fob from a current tenant:
- Log in to the Nokē Smart Entry Web Portal.
- Navigate to the Users tab and find the tenant.
- Copy the MAC address from the User Details page.
- Navigate to Settings > Fobs.
- Search for the MAC address and click Remove Fob.
The fob is now cleared and ready for reassignment.

Three Key Settings for Managing Fobs in Your Facility
There are three important facility settings related to fobs:
- Allow Service Fobs: This setting must be enabled to allow fobs to be assigned to service or vendor-type users.
- Use Blacklist: This setting deactivates fobs for delinquent tenants or those who have moved out. It’s essential for tracking access and preventing unauthorized entry.
- Fobs Follow User Schedule: This setting lets you choose whether fobs adhere to a universal schedule or an individual user schedule. Enabling this feature may require firmware updates for older fobs.
