Finding the MAC Address of a Nokē Device
The MAC (Media Access Control) address is a unique identifier for each Nokē device. Follow the steps below to locate the MAC address for a lock using the Storage Smart Entry by Nokē app.
Steps to Find the MAC Address
- Open the App: Launch the Storage Smart Entry by Nokē app on your mobile device.
- Access More Options: Tap the More icon (three lines) in the bottom-right corner of the screen.
- Navigate to Device Scanner: Scroll down and select Device Scanner.
- Wake the Lock: Press the white touchpad on the lock to wake it up.
- Locate the MAC Address: The app will display the MAC address, formatted as a 12-character string separated into pairs by colons (e.g., A1:B2:C3:D4:E5:F6).
By following these steps, you can quickly and easily retrieve the MAC address for any Nokē device.
