Removing Shared Access as a Manager
There may be instances where a tenant shares indefinite access to their unit with the facility, and in certain situations, the facility may need to remove this shared access. This could occur if there are suspicions of illegal activities within the unit or if there are ongoing issues with the tenant that necessitate the removal of access.
Steps for Tenant:
Tenant Sharing Access: Tenants can share access with the facility via their Mobile App by following these steps:
Notification to Facility: Once the tenant completes the sharing process, the facility will receive a notification if notifications are enabled.

Steps for Facility Manager:
Navigate to Units Tab: In the Web Portal, the manager can navigate to the Units tab. Within this tab, there is a column labeled 'Shared with Manager'. Clicking on the 'Shared with Manager' header at the top of the page will sort the units, displaying all shared units at the top of the Units table.
Remove Shared Access: Upon identifying the unit shared with the manager, clicking on the respective unit from the Units tab will redirect the manager to the Unit Details page. Here, an option to 'Remove Manager Access' will be available.
Tenant Notification:
Tenants will receive a notification in the Activity section of their Mobile App indicating that the facility has either removed or declined the shared access.
By following these steps, facility managers can effectively manage shared access to units within the Nokē Smart Entry system, ensuring security and compliance with facility policies.
