Managing Shared Access as a Manager

Occasionally, a tenant may provide access to the facility to others, but the facility may need to revoke this access.

Managing Tenant-Shared Access to Units

Tenants can share access to their units with facility employees for operational convenience. However, there may be situations where a facility needs to remove this shared access, such as in cases of policy violations or security concerns.

This article explains how shared access works and how facility managers can remove it when necessary.

How Tenants Share Access

Tenants can share access to their units using the Nokē Smart Entry Mobile App:

  1. Open the Mobile App and select the Share Access option and follow the prompts.

Once the tenant completes the sharing process:

    • The facility receives a notification in the Web Portal or via the Mobile App, if notifications are enabled.

    Notifications for Tenants

    Once shared access is removed:

    • Tenants are notified in the Activity section of their Mobile App.
    • The notification indicates that the facility has removed or declined shared access.

    Key Points

    • Tenants control shared access permissions through their Mobile App.
    • Facility managers can manage and revoke shared access in the Web Portal when needed.
    • Notifications ensure transparency between tenants and the facility.

By following these steps, managers can maintain security, enforce policies, and ensure smooth operations within the Nokē Smart Entry system.
