Overview of how to allow your employees to also rent units at your facility.
One of the capabilities of the Nokē Smart Entry system is the option for facility employees to also rent a unit at the facility. They can manage both the facility and their assigned units conveniently from a single account and their manager's mobile app. This integration simplifies their work and personal needs into one user-friendly interface. To initiate employee rentals, the Allow Employee Rental setting must be enabled.
Once you have enabled this setting, make sure to finalize the employee rental process in your Property Management Software (PMS) system. It is important to verify that the phone number and email address entered in the PMS match the ones in the NSE system's user profile for the employee who is renting the unit.
Upon completing this step, the user can log into the Storage Smart Entry manager's mobile app using their existing employee information. Now, the only difference the user notices is that they have an Unlock button on their mobile app. Other than that, the manager's mobile app interface remains unchanged. Their manager's mobile app and account will maintain the same permissions to operate the facility, with this new Unlock button used exclusively for their rented unit.
