How to Enable and Use the Checkout Feature in the Tenant App

In the Facility Settings portion of the Web Portal, under the Tenant Settings section, there is a setting called 'Move out Feature'. When this setting is turned to 'On' enables tenants to request a Checkout directly from the mobile app.

Upon submission, the manager receives the Checkout request (provided notification user preferences are turned on). 
It's important to note that this feature doesn't automatically remove someone from your PMS application; rather, it serves as a means for tenants to inform the facility manager of their intention to move out of their unit. 

Checkout Process via Tenant App:

  • Navigate to the Units/Entry tab.
  • Click on the unit you are checking out from.
  • Click the 'Checkout' button.
  • Confirm Checkout.

Requirements

  • Ensure the 'Move out Feature' is enabled in Facility Settings.
  • Ensure user notifications are enabled to receive Checkout requests.

If these selections are not visible, please reach out to an administrator to grant permission for your role type.
